Metro Denver rents have increased 0.2% month over month and 2% year over year. Metro Denver rents growth is above the national average of 1.3%. Denver's median two-bedroom rent of $1,350 is above the national average of $1,170. The only solution for this for builders and developers to build new homes.

Over the past year, rent increases have been occurring not just in the city of Denver, but across the entire metro Denver area. Of the largest 10 cities that we have data for in the Denver metro, all of them have seen prices rise. We are awaiting the publishing of the DMAR for April housing data.
